Can anyone recommend a quality gunsmith in or around Westchester?  I stripped off the forward most scope mount screw on my brand new rem 700p and I'm so pissed at myself I'm one step away from a draino gargle...  The only 'smith I know of is in Hopewell Jct. and I was strongly warned to stay away due to quality issues.

Before I attempt to fix it myself, I'd like to try a professional if I can find one.

There's one in the Bronx called Olinville Arms located on Whiteplains Rd. He is a gun smith also Shooting range does good work. Do a search online I think they have a website

save yourself some money.  get a "screw out" set from sears.  real easy to use.   no need for a gunsmith.
