Looking for an ORF 1919 - questions

I saw a few guys shoot the 1919 at Fort Dix and asked them how much they cost. I was told Ohio Rapid Fire sells them for just over 1000 bux, but when I went to their web site they are priced at 2000+.  Anyone know where to get one in the 1000 price range? Was it a group buy for 1000?

I think that CDNN is selling 1919's for $999.99 right now.

I'm not sure if they are ORF's though

I think R-Guns has them for $1200 now. There is also a group buy on weaponeer.net for 1919a4s built by Allied Armament for about the same price $1200 or so..I think. You also might want to check out 1919a4.com. They often have them posted for sale over there. Good luck. Of course, you will need a tripod, and a T&E , and belts or links, and a loader..and lots of ammo...

do they use the M60 308 links?
which brand is a better quality?
are the parts easy to get?
Are the parts interchangable with real 1919s, just in case I need parts?

TraumaLevel1,

You need to get yourself over to http://1919a4.com
There are several good builders of 1919s, just look around on that site to see who has a good reputation.
I recommend:

John b McGuire
206 Parkview dr
Mcminnville, Tn 37110

I don’t think any 1919 will run with M60 links, 3006 links and 308 links are readily available.
