Saturday and Sunday, end of the year action pistol and steel match starting each day at 9:00 AM; 4 stages, 48 rounds each stage...course of fire will be 8 inch steel plates, barricade, mover and practical. Also a side match of 30 steel plates, and you MUST knock down all steel regardless of how many rounds it takes, to stop the clock. So bring plenty of ammunition and a warm jacket...weather is going to be cool !
Now, for you folks that don't shoot these matches all that often...COME ON UP AND JOIN THE FUN !!!!

Match to be held at the Hornell Sportsmens Club located on Dennis Ave. Extension.
Entering Hornell from any direction, at the intersection of Main and Route 36, Burger King on one corner, Friendly's on the other, turn east and you will pass the Hallmark store on the left, then a traffic light, movies theater on the right and keep going until you have crossed the (very short) river bridge...now take a left onto Dennis Avenue and follow to the end...the very end being a very short sectiuon of dirt road to the club parking lot.
Entry fee for the match is $15.00, 9:00 AM start and sign up closes at Noon.
The side match, 30 pieces of steel, 6 rounds and reload til all steel is down (timed event) is $5.00 per gun .
All shooters welcome, revolver or auto, stock, open or full race guns welcome. All courses are revolver friendly.
