I'm going to Galloway, NJ tonight for a golf outing tomorrow.  I have an appointment to shoot clays tomorrow afternoon nearby -- but I don't have enough 12 gauge.

Is there any place nearby to get ammo?  Can I even buy ammo in NJ if I don't have a FID?  Last, will Walmart sell me ammo?

Silly Boy, Walmarts in NJ don't sell ammo!!

ZEUS SPORTING GOODS CO
6679 BLACK HORSE PIKE, EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ 08234
Phone: (609) 646-1668

They sell ammo, prices are on the high side.

Edit to add, you only need a DL to buy ammo in NJ.

Lugerman, thanks for that.

Will Sports Authority sell ammo?  I'm buying for four people for 2x50 rounds of clays so I need quite a bit of ammo.

Yes, you can also try K-Mart if you find one in the area. They sell skeet and shotgun shells. Harrys Army/ Navy in Robbinsville on RT. 130 would be a better choice if it's not too far out of your way.

I'm playing 18 on the bay course, then 100 on Red Wings sporting clays, then 80 minute massage at the Elizabeth Arden spa, then dinner and AC.

Best of all, it's on the firm's dollar, as in free-free-free!

Red Wing was a nice place. I forget what station it was on, but shooting clays over looking a nuclear reactor (across the bay) was something you could only get in NJ. I haven't been there in a while...shit 8 years ago! Man time flies. I'm surprised that the enviro-nuts haven't gotten on their case about lead going into the wetlands....shhh, let's not even think about it.

Edit...be real careful about AC and your shotgun. Make sure is safe from prying eyes and don't bring it into the casino.
