[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Any place near Rochester, NY where I can get a "gangster" grip for my son in Afghanistan

I received a call form my son who is in Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne. He mentioned that he needed a few items to replace some "liberated" from his gear during the trip over. Those I have been able to get, but what I need to find is a vertical grip for his M4. His rifle was given to another person and the replacement he got does not have one. Is there anyplace near Rochester that I can get one? I am trying to pull this all off in a day or two so any help appreciated.

Nowhere that i can think of off the top of my head. Ebay or the accessories page in the Equipment Exchange right here on ar15.com are 2 places i would check out. Im sure if you contacted one of the vendors on the EE they could ship the vertical grip of your choice to your son the same day you ordered it. Thank you for your's and your son's service to the United States.

Try calling Progun in Victor. It is a long shot, but they do stock black rifles on a regular basis.

Why not cut out the middleman (you) and avoid shipping delays by ordering directly from one of the forum vendors? I'm sure they would me more than willing to bill your address but ship it directly to your son in Astan...
