I'm also planning on attending Saturday AM with a few of the CNY crew. We usually meet at noon with lunch to follow. I'll leave the meeting location to Ed Sr. as I always screw it up

The plan from recent shows has been to meet inside the main entrance to the dome at noon, and then decide on a place for lunch. A nearby Tully's is the usual spot. Ed Sr. is usually pretty easy to pick out, if you don't know anyone else. The FRS radio was pretty much a waste of time at the Syracuse show. I'd suggest you take a look at the Fire Mission Accomplished thread tacked on the GD. You'll see a few of our ugly mugs. |

Friend from highschool who lives in Utah now is home this week, and there's a chance of getting everyone from highschool that's in the area together on saturday. but that would be in the afternoon/night so I could probably still make the show and lunch. I'll know more later in the week |

I am not posting this to try to change any of your plans, but I will not be able to make it until Sunday, so if anyone who goes Saturday could post any good deals on XM193 or similar ammo in lots of 500/1000 at this show, I'd really appreciate knowing!
Any other great deals would be nice to hear about as well, although my pocketbook is hurting just thinking about it! Thanks. |

Hi Sharky. Yes, that is the plan, the front entrance in the Dome, inside past the turnstiles. Ed is coming. I believe Aimless is as well. I should be coming with a couple friends. See you tomorrow

Oh darn,I finally made it to this thread....and with a few hours to spare!
We will meet at noon on Sat.It will be in the atriun of the dome (remember there are 2 doors to enter the show.One to Minnet Hall ( <----NOT THAT ONE  ) and one to the Dome (<---that one) The "atrium" is the space between where you pay to go in,and the dome itself (IOH where they check your weapons to clear them and band them with a plastic tie)  If anyone needs to go back to the show,you can always do so after lunch .....................for the afterthought of "I shulda bought that",that generally comes after departing. I believe TheBeerSlayer  is coming from Binghamton,where he is temporarily on a job.We will all get to meet him there.See ya to-mo-rrow.......AT noon! PS you can rarely hear the radio inside the show,so I am not bringing one.If you get lost remember the signal.Three shots in the air .....never mind.Just go to Tulley's if you miss the group leaving by any chance.

Anyone go to the Gander Mountain store on Hylan before the show? My dad and I arrived at 7:30am and went there before the show and they were handing out FREE $25 gift certificates! I bought some ammo and my dad used his towards a knife. There was no minimum purchase. It covered the cost of gas and our breakfast before the show!
Lots of over priced mags and "sale priced" pre-ban ARs in the $1500 range. I bought a few trickets and alot of pistol ammo. S.O. |

Yeah the only thing there that caught my interest was 500 rounds of XM193 for 80 dollarsish.
The m4 variants there made me want to build my own for half the price though! |
