Please only post here if you are attending, and let us know how many people in your party if you are bringing family and friends. We need to determine how many people there will be so we can let the restaurant know and have proper accomodations for our group.

Any other posts in this thread will be deleted... just please tell us if you are coming and how many.

I won't be able to make it on Sat. night. My wife is scheduled to give birth(c-section) on Fri. the 17th. I will be home taking care of the twins.

I hope everyone has a good time. I would like to attend the show for an hour or so to do some shopping

I'm in - probably have the GF with me, and I think one of my gun nut friends who was going to make the GOTM shoot(and didn't - and now regrets it) - so I believe that'll be three of us.. We probably won't be having dinner, but will hang out and have a couple of drinks with everyone after the show...

Please bring an FRS radio... if you do not have one, they can be found pretty inexpensively at Wal-mart. We will select a channel, I believe #10 was mentioned. SP10 and Pickupdan will have a table at the show, that will be our rally point.

What is the time frame for the show. Dodgeram and myself are gonna make a day trip out of it. I plan on being on the road by 6am. Gettin to Syracuse bout 11am. I imagine after the show we will group up and get a bite to eat. then back on the road for the trip home.

Show should be either 9-5 or 10-5... Dinner to follow at Tully's at 5:30. You should be on the road by 7:30 or 8:00.

Show is 9-5 on Saturday. Tully's is a quick drive from the Fairgrounds, and is very easy to get back on Rt 695 to 690.

Mapquest is tellin me 275 miles or 4 hours 39 minutes going out rt 80 into PA and north on 81. By the way el "jefe" owes me a "mentirita" !!!!

unless something odd happens in the next few days I'll be there. How long does it normally take to walk by all the tables? I'll adjust my leaving here time accordingly. And I think I got the stupid call tone feature turned off on my Talkabout so it won't make the sound after each transmission

Okay I've talked to a couple of different hotels and need to get ahold of the people who need rooms tonight.

I didn't get much in the way of a deal, unfortunately, because of the SU game, but the Marriot at Carrier Circle has rooms available at $ 99/night and there are restaurant/bars next door. It is maybe a 10-15 minute drive from the fairgrounds, there are closer places, but I've never been to them, I know the Marriot is okay. I'd appreciate hearing from the overnighters tonight to try to make arrangements to make sure everyone is taken care of.

What I 'd like to do is talk to everyone tonight on the phone to find out who's in, the call the hotel and take another shot at getting a deal, then have people call up and get booked in so we know everything is set.

Looking for cheaper rooms found some for $ 75 but all smoking-

I will check in again with more info after dinner.

Frank I think I have a refrigerator box out in the shed that I forgot to throw away, we could set that up for you in the bricks, free and with a live video feed we could watch you defend your position against the crack zombies through the eveing, might make a good survival forum thread...

Oh don't worry - Unfortuantely, I don't think Wave is going to make it. At the Albany meet, he ends all of his radio transmissions with "KRRRRRRRSH" - to make it sound all offical and NYPD "po-po" like.
