2003 Nissan Altima S model

Certified pre-owned
20,300 miles
All the bells and whistles except sunroof and leather
Book on it is $18,000+

Paid $16,400 plus $1,370 for a bumper to bumper warranty covering 6 years or 80,000 additional miles.

EVERYTHING I got was at dealer cost, saw the invoices and cost sheets from the dealership owner himself.  My close friend and Lodge brother is one of the lobbyists for the automotive dealers, and he called in a favor.

Grand total is around $19,100 including tax, title and registration.  I'm shelling out $2,000 and financing the rest through my credit union.

The kicker was I had my choice between this car and the exact same car new, 2004 at invoice cost.  Invoice on the 2004 was $18,806 plus tax, title and registration and only had a 3 year, 36,000 mile bumper to bumper.  Was pretty much a no brainer.

Anyway, that extra $1,000 is going in the bank for emergencies.

Now, if anybody wants to buy an ugly, but functionally excellent 1993 Regal for $1,000 so I can buy that uzi, let me know.

okay, so now you have NO EXCUSE for EVER not going to "be able" to get to events.....that old rust-bucket was your only out boy-o.

Seriously though, congrats Hiram....how does that big carcass of yours fit in an Altima?

PS Aimless....Doesn't a "certain someone" owe you like 4000 miles of transportation?  Can you say roadtrip to BF V?

Seriously though, congrats Hiram....how come my big carcass can't fit into an Altima but yours can?
