Let me know your thoughts
Would that be next weekend, or the one after? Saturday is the 1st, but I'm not sure if you are counting this coming weekend as the first November weekend or not. |
The 8th could work... need to hear from more than just Hoplite though... oh Social Director Helldoggy...
Theh 15th would work better for me. The 8th will be Matrix Revolutions afternoon for my son and me. And I really should help out at work day where I live that morning.
Any weekend with the possible exception of 11/8 works for me.
Next weekend is a little soon to plan hotels etc. Remember Nummy-nums, I just moved 10 days ago and am still unpacking...
Why not post a poll? |
NO! No Polls, I'm so sick of Polls! I won't even look at one in the GD |
Hiram, shouldnt this thread be "What weekend in November is good for a B&
I vote for the 8th, even if there's no poll. |
Hoplite, if it's the 22nd, I'll meet you there. So my vote for 22nd. Also would love to meet the LI crew. Hey Helldog, any chance you have a PDF of the membership form from Ulster County? |
Someday.....<sigh> I just moved and now I have to find the damn newletter to scan again....<growl> Remember, patience is a virtue... |
Nope...I will NOT take the opening for an easy pun..(and you guys thought I couldn't resist ) |

If the gathering is on the 22nd, go to the show in the morning and head up to Albany around 12:00 or 1:00. We stay at the shop late and we all go to dinner together afterwards. No excuses! |
Sounds like a plan! When is Thanksgiving this year? Its not that weekend, is it? |
Are you up for some shooting the weekend of the 8th? if not i wont be going til after dec 20th |
The 22nd would suit me fine as well. Of course I'm local, so you all just tell me when to be there!
Make it the 3rd week. Don't know if Ill have any money since I am going to Hawaii Monday. The 22nd sounds ok.
I apologize for not being around the past couple weeks much. I've been busy moving Meghan from her old apartment to her new one, painting the old one, picking up furniture all over the Boston region for her new place and assembling shelving units until 2:00 this morning. Just now getting to check the board as she has no net access at her new place yet.
Anyway, the 22nd seems to have the consensus... so let me put it to Brian and we can lock it down. That will give Helldoggy plenty of time to work his magic. |
Well, as a potential first time event attendee, I need to ask what the plan might be for dinner. My little yard apes, Mary Kate and Cullen, are influencing my planning.
Poughkeepsie is easy enough, and I can accidently make a wrong turn and end up in Albany , but taking them to a topless bar for a late dinner probably wouldn't work... |
Last time we went to an Italian chain called Delmonicos... good food and cheap. Helldoggy, Lorie40 and I went to a real nice restaurant in Albany called the Barnsider back in July. More expensive, but plenty of entrees at $20 or less and it includes an amazing salad bar. Helldoggy says it measures up to a quality NYC steakhouse. No nudie joints until long past dinner.
The 15th or 22 are both fine for the store. I need to talk to Helldoggy. I was originally leaning toward the 22, but I was informed that several key personalities can not make the 22nd. Of course there are others that can not make the 15th. However it seems like fewer people can't make the 15th than the 22nd, so I'm leaning toward the 15. Should know by tonight.
Guys,
sorry to be so silent as of late, but the work siutation has been hectic... Anyways, the weekend of the 15th seems to be the most "do-able" for the most number of people. Please IM or email me ASAP so I can arrange to book rooms (same place as last time) and make a dinner reservation. I PROMISE you, you will NOT be disappointed by the food, and with me and Hiram on diets, there might actually be something left for others to eat. Look forward to seeing you all then. |
Seefood[sic] diet? |
You know buddy-boy... without Wolfe cubs around we're going to be looking for an ARFCOM bitch... I think you just nominated yourself... |
Hey, Helldog, are you sure you didn't mean 22nd???? That's what looks most doable by the responses here. What says you? |
No Greg, it is the 15th. Helldog and I received responses that were not posted in the thread that indicated some of the crucial players could not make the 22nd. When we tallied it up we had one person who said he could not make the 15 and several who said they could not make the 22nd.
Oh, so its a SEEEECRET ballot? Great. AND we have Rumpranger and FuzzDawg tallying the votes!
Oh yeah, is there any word on an Avila presence? It wouldn't be the same without them. |
Yeah, Barrister-to-be, the Avila's are available on the 15th. |
Hiram---> <---Ballsack
Hey Weisenheimer... you asked about whether the Avilas would be there? The reason we are doing the 15th is because Ed Sr. is on call on the 22nd... Good enough reason for you? |
It figures that kindergarten recess humor would appeal to your intellectual threshold. |
Nope, more in tune with that homo roasting you got actually! |
BWAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!! Did he offend your superior intellect? |
Was the closet becoming too confining for you? By your own admission you are in tune with homos???? Hey, whatever you and your boyfriend want to do in the privacy of your own home is your business... this is afterall America and the 21st Century. |
Better? |

DAMN! Looks like Hiram's got a wildcat on his hands! Bring her along on the outing, I'm sure we won't scare her off or nothing.
Thank you, and she just might be... but you all better behave! |
That's it, edit when you loose! Might as well edit out the homo ones as well, they all came from the team forum too.
