You can't use it without a State license. To get a State license you have to open a store with hours open to the public. So if you not going into the firearms business full time you'll never be able to use your C&R FFL.

A friend of mine had one years ago, itis federal, the state law doens't apply, iit is a specfic license to collect, you are not allowed to regularly sell
