I will soon be in Manhattan on business with only Sunday as a tour day/night.

The question is, "What would you do and where would you go, if you and your wife were Non-Drinkers"?

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

There's alot you can do in the Times Square area and its very safe. Lots of Theme Restaurants and MTV etc...

Upper East side has several museums like the Gugenheim etc... and there are plenty of Restaurants also

Upper West side ( My fav ) Very cool laid back , lots of excellent Restaurants ( Have Breakfast at " Good Enough to Eat" 84 st. and Amsterdam ave. Natural Museum of History 78 st and Central Park West and the Planitarium ( VERY COOL ) On 81 st Bet Central Park West and Columbus ave. Also have some Street flea markets in the area and try Grays Papaya for a great Hot Dog and Fruit Shake ( 72 & B'way ). You might even see some Stars as thats where many live and work ABC and other studios are in the area. Try Zabars B'way  bet 80 and 81 streets wife will like it there.

Hope this helps ,

jack

Have a great time , Autumn is always the nicest weather as well , oh yeah if you like the Beatles walk through " Strawberry Fields" which is a beautiful path full of interesting NYkers hangin , its on 72 and Central Park across from the Dakota where John Lennon lived , you can also get a horse carriage ride there ( expensive( $50 + ).

A lttle known Memorial is the Grant Memorial on Riverside Dr. around 96 st. ( not sure of the street).

If you like BBQ try BBQ's ( restaruant 's name) on 72 st near Central Park West.very Inexpensive.

Let us knopw how it goes

Jeez, you just described a saturday for me!  Greys Papaya was the last stop at 3am (or later) coming back from the 80's/Amsterdam bars.
