I'm planning on getting a used F-150 as a new vehicle. My preferences are at least $8-10,000 (12,000 is my highest), at least 50-70k miles 4WD, mint condition. I will consider any kind of F150 with 4wd. A truck liike this should be around $8,500 according to the blue book. Anyone know a place in the LI area or a private seller with this? I checked almost all the Ford dealers. They're too much and I want to try to pay the lower fees, taxes, etc if I were to do this through dealers. I'm looking at a 2 day window for this.

Kelly BLue book prices are usually a bit high.  Knock off 15-20% of their suggested price.
Have you checked newsday, NYPD auctions etc?

Found this for my father in-law it's in CT but still seemed worth it. He did'nt want a 5-speed.
