For those that don’t know.

Get the Valero + app.

You save 10 cents a gallon when you use it.
If they make mistake or the app malfunctions they add 10 cents more savings when filling up.

They also do specials on holidays.

For the 4th they are taking 40 cents a gallon off.

Filled up this morning and because of some issues with the app the total off added up to 20 buck savings.

Everything helps right now with the price of gas.

Not affiliated with Valero just giving a tip.

Though I appreciate the insight.... The reviews on that app tell me it's one glitchy mofo

The 7-11 app gives you 11 cents off your first 7 fill-ups at locations with 7-11 branded canopies. I think it’s 3 cents off every fill-up after that.

Kroger fuel points are also great if you’re a regular Kroger shopper, although I think they’ve tweaked the program over the last several months to be less beneficial.

Of course, the best gas saving tips involve not driving like an idiot, gradual acceleration, using cruise control, coasting up to red lights, etc.
