People collect them... And although those folks would consider it heresy... People like me chop up those old console hi-fi units for the tube amp chassis in them... because they can be converted into really sweet guitar amps. Not sure myself about that particular Philco, but I am a huge fan of Motorola console tube amps. There are others who are Philco fans. |
