What a fun night! Once again, thank you to Lug for orchestrating this whole thing. Turn out was amazing, enjoyed meeting lots of folks, scored a sweet patch, and food was great. No meat sweats to report... guess I need to eat more next time? Felt like I was eating pretty much non-stop. I think the ribeye was the winner for me, although the lamb was quite good too.

Betting we'll do Kearney's Feed Yard again. View Quote Glad someone got the reference. And meeting your wife was also cool. It's always interesting to see what kind of women will put up with our collective shenanigans. Dinner after Rodeo sounds like fun, but we'll be over past your side of town that weekend. The CEO has vacation to burn before Sept 1, so we're taking Dog Mahal to Lake Mineral Wells SP for a long weekend. I've been wanting to try their bike trails for awhile and we'll probably drag kayaks out too. I do want to check out Kearney's. I've got a training conference I'm attending up in Knoxville the 2nd week of August, but I'm hoping to be home on the 14th for Big Town (and my birthday). So maybe we can do it then. |

Quoted: I am home. Closing thoughts, nerd alert I was so pleased we had a nearly full dance card. 36 person turn out I think. I'm not sure if Addison mayor pro tem GQ made 37 or not. I saw old friends and made new friends. And worried about some other friends either sick or having car trouble. I felt so blessed to have a group this size come out and know, without knowing, these are my people. My heart was truly warmed by the attendance. You are the charter members of the Knights of Wonder. Throw in a couple Dame's also Thank you all so much for coming. I pray your times were as good as mine. View Quote Pretty baller move to send the Addison Mayor in my place! |

Halfway back to Missouri! Had a great time last night, meeting old friends and making new ones. It’s always cool meeting folks from Arfcom and putting names and faces to avatars.
Huge thank you out to Lug1! None of this would have happened without all of his hard work. You’re the man, brother. |

El Viejo is “the old man” Next time we will send people to Rockwall county and bring EdSr to the meet up—by force, if necessary. Though we could probably bait and switch him. There is a great Cuban restaurant 7 minutes from Fogo. |
