Quoted: "LEO said that they are planning to blocking Rt 121/SRT on Saturday and Sunday." This came directly from a cop working the event. He said they were going to brief them on the situation with BLM, but his response was, if it is on 121 it is DPS's problem. View Quote They'll more likely block the access roads, but I find it ironic Plano/Frisco et al have no issue writing speeding tickets on the tollway but would kick this to DPS. |

If the city council and or mayor won't back them because of the possibility of Federal involvement and bad media exposure, it makes perfect sense. |

Still not seeing anything advertised for this weekend other than the local people in favor of dropping rockets randomly on civilian areas.

Sitrep 5/14/21 4:00PM Colin County Jail:
No unusual activity, but the north part of the jail, staff parking and transfers, is cordoned off by this light fencing. Gates are opened but PCMS at each driveway are showing "Restricted Area", "Authorized Vehicles Only" and "No Pedestrians" messages. I did not go all the way around to the northern end (near the animal shelter) to see if that entry was also ready for closure. Maybe left that one open since it is such a nice kettle if protesters drive back there Attached File Attached File Attached File |

Update PGA: Protest planned Sunday 5/16.
Makes sense they are preserving their limited powder for the big day of the PGA show. Note no location shown. I will watch for updates... or it could just be a fakeout to get McKinney PD and PGA to react. Attached File |

Update the local radio yap-yappers, did anyone hear Ken Paxton on Tuesday night?
If I'm under occupation, it's news to me, or it was the briefest occupation in the history of fake occupations. The opposition likes to talk big and get the right all kerfuffled. Inciting the response, whether in person or online.

Mark Davis talked about the Plano protest for the first time this morning during the last 20 minutes of his show. He more or less gave it the back of his hand.

Apparently a sizeable crowd in downtown today for the pro-shooting-rockets-at-civilians rally. Started in Dealey Plaza but I've heard mention of Belo Gardens now. Police around but not any special response yet.

Not seeing any updates on the Byron Nelson today. Looks like regular traffic slowdowns in the area. However, there is a Target store in the commercial corner at Custer!! You know that will draw the protestors like flies!

Apparently the Marvin Scott III crowd was back in front of the CoCo Commissioners' Court (a.k.a. Co^4) today. Public meetings like the Commissioners Court and City Councils have open microphone time at nearly every meeting where citizens can address the governing body on any topic. Use it!
Also hearing there may be a pro-Israel rally on Wednesday, May 19. I presume in downtown Dallas. I don't have an advertisement yet but I will update when I get a chance. |

Quoted: They meet during the day, convenient for the Soros funded/unemployed crowd. Do you know if you have to give your full name and address when speaking? View Quote Yes, these are public meetings with records and minutes. Nobody checks the names or addresses though. "They" have to give their names too. Note that 99% of cities have meetings at night. Only Dallas that I work with, and things like the Commissioner's Court, have daytime meetings. Your mayor and city council people will often set up meetings with HOAs or other organizations periodically (i.e., election time). Edit: Just saying that the politicians are sensitive to public speakers. They know it is a dedication to go do this, whatever time of day. So it means more than the average letter, email, or call. Dallas zoning meetings are in the afternoons. Parks meetings are in the morning.
If you happen to have an interest in something the zoning board is deciding and it's controversial, you'll sit through 3 or 4 hours of other bullshit before they get to you. |

I saw some post about a Pro Palestinian protest/counterprotest at 635 and Preston this evening on FB. Does anyone have any other info? All that was posted was some pics of the protesters and lane blockage.

Yeah, I had heard there was something pro-Israel on Wed and lefties were going to respond, but I could never find a location. Guess I should have figured it was up in the more Jewish part of town. Air 1 and some police were on scene, apparently arrested a guy for flying a drone.

That seems to be common practice for all local government Addison would do the same thing and I've noticed similar tactics by Plano. 7 - 8 years ago, my wife and I went on a guided tour of downtown with a group of about 20 people on a Saturday night. Even back then it was wild. I can't imagine what it's like now. Belo garden had at least one black religious group literally screaming about their issues and this was way before Trump and BLm. Like I said, we had about 20 middle class suburban folks with us in our group, I felt safer with the group, but I didn't not feel safe and I was CCW.
If you're bored, go cruise down Main St and the West End at night with your windows rolled down. |
