Not this year. I last rode it in '98 on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year. It was brutal. I sagged out at the last rest stop and headed for the cold beer.

I might be able to get some of my bmx cruiser club to go. We do 40+ miles regular.

9 days left.
This will be my first 50 mile ride. The ride is on the one year anniversary of me getting back into cycling. Been putting in longer rides and two rides a day to practice for it. Averaging about 40 a day this week. |
