Didn't quite see the entire show. HiPoint carbines are down to $250-260. Lowers down to $55 - though Cabella's has em for $50.

Went today and there was a pretty big crowd. I had to burn up some Visa gift cards on a Magpul stock for a Mossberg 500 and some accessories. The vendor that had them was having trouble with his CC machine and told me he'd be at Ft Worth in two weeks. Okay then.
One thing is for sure, I've never seen so many people walking dogs in a gun show. Not those in "Service Dog" vests, just dogs that apparently can't be left alone in their homes while their owners go to a gun show with cramped and crowded aisles.

There's one legit service dog @ the local gunshows - the owner's in a wheelchair. I some some tall black dude walking around w/ a big "service" dog and a "service" puppy. People will be walking around w/ "service" geese next. @DK-Prof

10-11 Feb - Fort Worth, Gainsville, Greenville, Hillsboro, and Nacodoches gun shows this weekend. @Fadedsun @subnet - I know it's a long way to drive man, but you must be out of jerky by now! @BIgDAM @Motown_Steve @m35ben @sample @maggiethecat @FW_wife b/c I want her to look @ concealed carry purses @LadybirdJ b/c who doesn't want to help a gal look @ purses? @Raider14 - you gonna hit Hillsboro? I am going to stop at the gunshow with my sister and BIL to get a set of night sights to put on my Glock 19. I don't know how long we're going to be there, or what time, but I'll text you when we get there. I am taking them shooting on Sunday.

They have kiosks in partner gun shops around Dallas where you can take your fingerprints yourself, and they have an app that will let you create and upload your passport photos. You don't have to set foot inside a police station. I haven't been to a show in quite awhile so I went today. Was pretty crowded. Had to park on the 4th floor of the parking garage! Was a long way to lug back 500rds of 230gr 45 and 500rds of 115gr 9mm!

I feel your pain. I lugged 1000 230gr bullets a couple of blocks one time and it was painful. No handle and no easy way to hold onto the box.
Party of the problem today i think was related to the stock show but there was a good crowd for the gun show. |

The ARFCOM store is there. Walked about half the show this afternoon but didn't see any cheap lowers. Even HiPoint carbines were high. Did see a brand new Ruger PCC and a Gen 5 26. Should be back tomorrow afternoon unless we ice up tonight.

Small but good show. HiPoint carbines - my price bellweather - were over $300, signifying a high priced show. However, found a DetTron AR for $400, so go figure.
The steal of the day was $50 for a Ruger 22/45 receiver, heavy target bbl, & high target sights. I could barely get my wallet out fast enough. |
