A buddy of mine had an idea that I thought was interesting. He was wondering if it would be possible to fire a 22LR round out of a 4X4 piece of lumber. It seemed plausible and I thought you might appreciate that idea.

My uncle has shot cannonballs out of a log, so I'm sure that's doable.
