Had a nice time. Just stayed a couple of hours.
Will return when it's cooler

Corn dogs --awesome.
Gulf shrimp-- save your 17 tickets. Crap. How did that shit win?
Magnolia beer garden --- nice selection on tap. The coffee lager was heavy but not flavorful.
Would,recommend the Lakewood lager

They also have Cuban Sandwich, wish I would have tried it.

Thanks. I might give the Cuban sandwich a try. I think the last time I had a corn dog was about 25 years ago. Maybe some of the other crazy fried stuff would be worth a try.

Research first see if any shows are playing. I don't care for that but some people do.
Check their website

Park inside the fair, pay the 15 bucks and valet Don't park outside.
Have a full tank,of gas if you plan on going at night. You don't want to stop around that hood.
I prefer the daytime during the week. I hate crowds.

Buy your tickets. Take the little trolly tour first and get a look at things.

nope, just tell them before they use the metal detector on you. then youll be directed to a cop inside the gate who will look at your chl and your on your way

Look into taking the train - very easy and drops you off right outside the main West gate.
Look into the daily ticket discounts which could save money.
Be ready to eat your annual allotment of overpriced fried foods.
