Supposed to be one in Allen soon. Haven't received my invite yet.
It's a closed store event where card members are offered employee prices on various merchandise. REI does a similar event. |

I got my invite for the Ft Worth store. It is on November 24. I usually go if I don't have anything else's to do. It is usually a decent free meal.

I can't make the Friday showing, but I might be able to make the Sunday event. I'm scheduled to work both days. Decent food and live music were present at last year's event. The "employee discount" ranges from 5% to 20% depending on what you're buying, according to one employee I asked last year. |

Pretty much what I heard when going to the contractor's night pre-opening at the Allen store. The bigger discounts are on the Cabela's branded merchandise. So it wasn't that great, but at least for the contractor's night the manufacturer's reps were there and had some other discounts up their sleeves. |

No, the one last year was a disappointment. The main things I want to buy won't have any real discount. Esp stuff in the gun section. They did have some decent discounts on Cabela's brand clothing, but I'm not a big camo guy and most of it was too heavy for South Texas.
