Damn, that was a mouthful.

Would you be interested in buying a LaRue lower with the Texas state outline?

Maybe if we can get enough people to agree, Mark will hook us up.

Vote in the poll and post here with the number of lowers you would buy.

Lets assume we can get them each for $150 - $200 (Billet lowers)

In for one.  Stripped and unmarked caliber preferred.

I think you are off your rocker if you think they will be 150-200, lol. Especially with the back log of full rifles they have now.

+1

Correct me if I'm wrong but the LaRue lowers already have the Texas state outline.

+1 for "off your rocker."

Here is the current picture on the website:

If my memory serves me correct, they don't make any money off the lowers. I think they make actually take a loss on them..So why would Mark sell them any cheaper than what they are already listed at?

Hell, I didn't know that, I'm not a LaRue expert, just a customer.

I figured with a large enough group buy we could get them for a little less than the retail price. That's normally how group buys work.

If there is zero profit, then obviously, it won't work.

Mods - Feel free to delete this thread.

This was based on the FL hometown lower from Spike's. I thought LaRue had made different lowers, not just billet. People were asking about LaRue doing a lower with just an outline of the state.

I'd be interested but only at a price point that I don't feel will happen.

My understanding is that they are now made in-house.  You can buy lowers through SMOS, maybe even get a group buy going, but I seriously doubt you could get a LaRue branded lower from them.  I am sure, just based on basic business principals, that their previous agreement specified exclusive sales via LaRue.

Why do yall keep focusing on there being a brand on it? There is already a Texas silhouette on there.

How about we just focus on the group buy part?

it's a well known fact group buys or "testing the water" threads need prior approval..even in the Lone Star State.
