Ultimately I'll probably buy online, but I'd like to finger a few before I spend the money.

I really want a ZT0300.....but I cant justfy $240 on a knife I might lose. I'm more interested in a ZT0350 at around $120.

Anyone know where I might go handle these knives?

Thanks for the info, if I'm over that way I'll stop in.

ETA: I just checked their site. Prices seem to be a bit high.

Just a thought to support the local guy.
He has a shop, employees, insurance, gas and electric and let's you walk in for free and handle expensive equipment. If you drop it he has to sell it damaged for a discount.
Sure, you could save $20-50 bucks on a $300 knife some will be eaten in shipping.

It's just good buisness to buy local and support your community.
The guy is "supporting you" by letting you handle it.

Just a thought.

I'f I could find it somewhere a little closer to home (Richardson is a good hour+ drive for me) I'd be happy to buy local.

Richardson is not "my community".

Perhaps I'll try a gunshow.

+1.

South Summit carries the ZT0350 for less than the price you stated above and they'll be at the Big Town show next weekend

Defiantly buy it from a local dealer if you can, don't be a jerk and finger fuck his wares then buy online.

How about the House of Blades near Lake Worth. I haven't been there in a long while, but they used to have an excellent selection.

They do have a great selection but as I recall, their pricing was around full retail+20%. They're very proud of their knives.

FWIW - I really like my '350.  It's a GREAT deal smaller than the "full size" ZT knifes.

i purchase mine from www.knifeworks.com

I did the exact same thing about 2 weeks ago. This knife is very nice and very hefty. KW got me my knife in about 3 days.
