Hope you will be okay.  It doesn't look that bad for now?  We could use the rain fall over here.

Stay safe

Figures it would happen like this.  I get 4 days off in a row and now I am probably going to get called in.  Same thing happened while I was on vacation Alex came in.  Some good news is the Rio Grande River has receded a lot and the flood way is clear or else we would be in for bigger problems.

If you remember, Alicia formed into a Hurricane not too far off the coast of Lousianna Back in August 1983 and quickly went to CAT 3 before hitting the Galveston Bay area. In two day it went from a T.S. to a CAT 2

Hurricane Alicia
I don't think it will be the case with this Tropical Storm, but you never know.

Not likely, it will be making landfall too soon.  Stormpulse is forecasting 70MPH winds.

Only ended up getting about .5in of rain here at the house.  The county over had 6-10 inches and the power is out over there.  The sun is already out here.

Lots of wind and rain in San Antonio.  Wind gusts were strong enough to mess up fences, knock down small trees, etc in my neighborhood.  Came home early to find it blew off one of my roof turbines leaving an exposed hole in my roof during the rain for a few hours.  Got soaked to the bone climbing up there to temporarily cover it.  Winds also lifted up my wood patio cover moving two of the 4x4 posts out of place.  Luckily the entire thing didn't crash down as one of the posts shifted off the concrete into the grass.  I'm glad we got some rain, we sure needed it, but could definately do without the winds.

I was in it all day and it was not fun.
Trees down, power lines down, car crashes.
I got soaked to the bone.
Wind tore the flags off our flag poles.
Never dealt with wind I had to lean into before to keep from getting blown over.
Home now in dry jammies with a beer.

We've had almost 7" of rain here (Austin, near Mansfield Dam).

And still going!

Never seen this much water in my yard (hope I don't have to dig a relief trench)

Hermine didn't do what they thought it would do with the core rains holding to the west of DFW.  We have a feeder band training straight up the IH35 corridor and it was a mess this morning and still is.
I'm on top of a hill and I have standing water.
We need the rain, but this is a mutha.

Happy to have all of this rain, we certainly needed it.

We had about 9"-10" in Saginaw. I was out in it blocking streets due to flooding and directing traffic until about 1pm. My boots will never dry out.

Hard to get an accurate rain reading when the rain is blowing sideways!    I thought the winds were overwith by yesterday evening, but they started up again last night, woke me up.  Lots of lightning last night too.

Tornadoes firing up from Seagoville towards Lawson and Forney, and a warning over at IH30 and Hampton/Westmoreland.
