i love arfcom. rock on tom  Now don't get the idea I emptied that WalMart of .380 & .38Special. I was too late for the .380, but I did get the three remaining value packs of .38 and three boxes of .45acp.
There is quite a bit of .40 S&W and .223 still there. ****BTW.... it's pretty common on the internet to complain about WalMart clerks. The guy that runs sporting goods at this location is not typical. He knows his ammo and he knows his guns. |

I was going to buy all the 380 and 38 Special but I left some boxes for the next guy.

They had a number of 100 rnd 55gn value packs and 20 rnd boxes of win 1313 5.56 for 10.00. The price point is still too high for me to bite. I told the guy at the counter that if walmart dropped the price a few bucks, I would have bought it all.... JUST LIKE WHEN THEY USED TO HAVE THE 40rnd VALUE PACKS....

You getting Winchester223/556 ammo. All I see here @ my local Wal Mart is the Remington green and white 20 and 40 round boxes and the occasional Federal 100 round value packs. I actually just got back from there and they had quite a bit of the RWS 9mm. Yea it was a tad expensive but it is Swiss made ammo, 124 grain and does very well out of my 9mm. Same company that made the Swiss GP-11 ammo for the K-31 makes this ammo and the GP-11 is quality ammo.
