Moved from DFW to the Brownsville and need a place to shoot.   I am willing to drive up to an hour if a place is really good.
Also, my wife and I want to get our CHL. Any good places in the valley?
It just won't be home down here until I can shoot!

My Father did his CHL at Vinson's School.  Its located in Los Fresnos, and the firing range is about 6 to 8 miles away.  He seems to be the go to guy for CHL's from what I heard.  I believe the Valley has about 2 or 3 places to shoot, but I have never been to them.  Good luck

I have worked down there. I highly recommend you get your CHL~


The only range I know of is up in Mission, too far to drive from Brownsville.



Look up the "Glick twins" in Pharr. The have a decient gun shop, and could point you in the right direction.
I think they are on "Cage" road IIRC.
