I don't belive Osama I mean obama would show up there either. Is it just me or is it wierd that where at war with Islam fanatics but an Islam is running for Pres. ?I cant belive he has made it this far.
 All the internet polls show him losing to Mcain except in D.C........ make me wonder if our vote realy matters anymore.

It hasn't ever mattered, unless you are among the electoral college. It would make for a an interesting campaign if Obama fell victim to insurgents during his visit! It is supposed to be a death punishment for a Muslim male who turns away from his religion, and Obama attends the hate whitey so-called Christian church. |

Wasn't there a thread on here just a few weeks ago talking about the alarming (well, at least alarming to me) percentage of active duty military personal that when polled said they were going to vote for this douche?
If true, they can selective pick the soldiers they want immediately surrounding him for the photo ops.

Well he landed today. It would be a wonderful thing if they did boo him. I agree with what they said on CNN/Fox that the only reason he is doing this is for the photo opportunity for his campaign and that's it!

Only fobbits and hi-ups will get to be around him. The troops that are actually doing something will be outside the FOBs conducting security ops.
Besides I am sure that the word got passed through the CoC to make sure the troopers where on their best behavior. |

Yep. Whenever we had VIPs come around, we were always thinned out and only certain personnel were around. If that could not be arranged, we were threatened and told to keep our mouths shut. One time...I didn't

I don't think being black has much to do with this.You either believe in him, or you do not.I am sure they screen the people he is seen with, but you have to believe in is bullshit to want to be seen with him in the first place. I am very worried about what he represents.........it,s called socialism.And it's shaded red, not black. And this is coming from a old East Texas Redneck.

f*** obama. his socialistic ideas suck, this country did not get to be such a great nation by taking the money from hard working people and redistributing it to those who "aren't so fortunate." i was raised a poor fisherman's son but i am not demanding that the government pay me for being poor. my father taught me to live right, encouraged me to go to college and make a better life, not stand in a line at the welfare office, go to the emergency room for a hang nail, and leech off of the system. if more people believed in hard work and doing the right thing, we wouldn't be in such a sad state. i'm not saying mccain is our savior, but anyone but a socialist muslim, is that even possible?

One of the rare times I agree with you. I do not believe that booing a presidential candidate by United States troops is appropiate. They protect unpopular constitutional ideas as well. |

Oh...Come on, man. I agree with you on some of the stuff, but not this time. So our brave and honorable troops shouldn't boo a public figure even if they feel like that public figure's idealogy (because the guy is socialist/communist, foreign policy, or whatever it is.....) is different from them? They just cheer him on, just to show him they agree with him overtly, right? You don't boo a public figure, that's fine. How's about non-public figure? Edit for speling.
