In case anyone is interested, I stopped by The Gun Store in Cedar Park this afternoon to poke around and was glad to see that they have .223 in cases in stock. They had about 5000 rds in Wolf FMJ and HP in 500 rd lots for $135 each and some 1000 rd cases of S&B and PMC for around $430 or so.
Grabbed me 500 rd each of the Wolf .223 FMJ and HP for rainy day stash. If anyone needs some go down and stock up.

We're getting 55gr 223 for under $400/1000 in Houston area gun shows. Remans for $299/1000 at one of the last shows.

David [store owner] is a good guy.  I am sure he is on here some place.  I bought a couple glocks there, sold a remmy 700 and stuff.  He's got all the class 3 goodies too.

Gun show in  Austin this weekend... get some ammo one way or the others.  His store is on the way for me.

on 183 at Buttercup creek, just south of 1431.

Cedar Park is the next city north of Austin on 183, about 8-10 miles west of Round Rock.

And Dave and Dan ARE good people!

+1 on the folks there being Good Folks and VERY E.B.R. / Class 3 friendly.

Definitely NOT your typical FUDD gun shop.

David is a freiend of mine.  He is Class II and very EBR friendly.  Great store to go hang out in.  Infact, I met NFA Investments there and bought by first MG from Keith becsue of handling one of David's M-10s.

If you show up more than a couple of times, be ready to give and take some heat. They are a hoot!

Of more interest to me, they have dummy RPG rounds right now.
