...Gordon describes the first-half of the film as being pretty accurate.

With a light PC rinse.

Wasn't the chick involved a RN, too?

I honestly felt sick to my stomach when I heard that story in the news.

Roger, I seem to recall something about her working in the medical field but I couldn't find anything on wiki or other links in a google search.

I think she was a nurses aid, which was astounding to me when I heard it. Here was a person who drew a paycheck for helping to ease the suffering of people on a day to day basis, and then leaves this guy impaled on a winshield in her garage, moaning, for days.

AP reported Chante Jawan Mallard as being a nurse's aid.

Windshield Murder Case Basis for Movie

i24.tinypic.com/2zxz885.jpg

"LOS ANGELES, CA (WBAP) - The infamous 2001 windshield murder case out of Fort Worth has been turned into a feature-length movie called, Stuck.

The 2001 Chante Mallard windshield murder case is the inspiration for a new movie which is expected to be released sometime next year.  Stuart Gordon, of "Re-Animator" fame, directs the film which stars Mena Suvari as the Chante Mallard character and Stephen Rea representing the victim, Gregory Biggs.

"I was reading about it in the newspapers and I just couldn't believe what I was reading,"  said Stuck Director Stuart Gordon.  "I mean, it was one of those stories that just completely grabs you and you know, what would make a woman do something like this?"

Hey, I think I solved the case.

Kidding; I'm sending this link to my wife and am a fan of poking bears with sticks.

My thoughts exactly.

This role would be perfect for Queen Latifa.

I bet dumb ass that hit her will get some bucks out of that...

What a deal for her, now she can buy an 8 ball if she ever gets out.

What was her sentence, does anyone recall ??

She got 50 years, but I don't know if that held up, or what that really means.

Hearing the original story was kind of like watching kittens being tortured -

Why would anyone actually pay money to see this?

Talking with some friends today the thought came up that horrific tale that it is, it's still probably going to be pretty hard to come up with a watchable 75 minutes or so of storyline.
