FAIL-SAFE and I are going to visit ETH on October 2nd.
Yeah, it's been a year.

Any suggestions on what to do besides take flowers?

I was up there in May, I made a post here.

I just brought flowers and visited for time and remembered the good times.

I didnt know there was anything planned but I will keep an eye out.

I sure do miss the guy we called our friend and brother.

I can't believe it's been a year.

Unfortunately, I'll be onsite at a customer's new building doing my "Real" job that day.

Thanks for posting this as I knew it was coming up soon but couldn't remember the exact date since I'd tagged all the old threads from last year...now they've "expired" and I don't have a way to access them.

I can't make it down but will keep an eye on this to see if there'll be a fund set up to send money to for flowers...or whatever is decided.

1 part Gold Tequila (Cuervo or Sauza)
1 splash Triple Sec
1 splash Blue Curacao (When it looks like Windex, you've got it just right)
1 generous wedge of lime, per glass, fresh squeezed.
Ice - Wayne prefered his 'rita frozen, but when served out at the Hun Farm, on the rocks was tradition.

Can't remember where/whom I got this from.

If this is violating any state/Federal IP laws, I'll pull it.

Wayne taught me how to make those, and a few other flavors as well. I gave that recipe out to all who asked for it last year after he passed away. Wayne loved to serve those to everyone he met. In Wayne's honor, please feel free to share that recipe with everyone.

I can't make it up to DFW on 10/2, but rest assured, I'll be listening to Pink Floyd and enjoying a pitcher or two of the blue water from my patio in Austin. If there are any other folks in the Austin area who would like to join me, send me an IM.

Today is the anniversary of SGT Casey Joyce's death (BHD). We are having a dinner tonight at the Post in honor of him; smoked ribs and chicken. Also, I believe Casey's Mother will be there too. Maybe a few other notables as well.

I've been watching my calendar. It is marked on Oct 2nd as the day Wayne passed.

I think I'll tell the budget to go f#ck itself and buy the ingredients for Windex Margaritas.
