How flammable is it? I am looking for a more economical way to power 10 kerosene lanterns at reenactments, and want to be able to store it in a correct WWII 20 liter fuel can. So buying it at the pump seems to be the option.

Jet A should work fine in lanterns. The local prices I can find for it are from $3.50/gallon to $4.50/gallon.....AirBP is the lower price, Phillips 66 is the higher.

you might try places like harbor freight, big box stores and tractor supply.
i think i remember seeing it in 5 gal drums. i don't think i have ever seen it "at the pump" in Texas. |

I remember it in the pumps, in the 50's lots of small East Texas towns had it.
 People who cut pulpwood used to clean their saws with it, cut the pine sap off fast. |
