After a year of making up my mind i have made reservations for a truck and will be in Nacogdoches on the 26th of FEB. Goodbye cold ass North Dakota.
Let me be the first to say... Welcome to Texas. Don't forget to turn out the lights when you leave North Dakota... |
Wow dude. Welcome to Texas.
Lots, and I mean LOTS of hot chicks in Nac. |
I know, i was there a couple years ago in Feb, i have never seen so many good looking legs i my life. We dont get to see legs for 9 months out of the year here. |
Now where did I put those Texas Crew applications? TRG... did you have those last? |
NacoNOWHERE!!!!! |
If you think that is nowhere you should see where i live in ND. |
I went to school there before they kicked me out. It is gorgeous. Rains a lot tho. piney woods.
I love the area, it is where my grandparents and my mother were raised. |
Ok, You're welcome to join us.
Ok, somebody in charge...please shut the door. We're full |
Yar... one of them followed me back to Austin so I had to keep her =) |
Hold that door, i am freezing up here. |
Close the window too, that North breeze is a tad cold for my sensitivities.
What year(s)? I was there from 1991-1995. |
great, another damn yankee
Welcome to TX with a name like harysacz, you'll fit right in. I'm not sure that's a good thing. TXL |
'Doches is great. I put myself through school boot-legging from Dallas to SFA.
Wouldn't it be nice to do that! |
Welcome! I lived in Nacadouchebag, Nacanowhere, Nastyroaches in '93-'95 while going to SFA. It's a great town! I had way too much fun down there. FYI: I live 40 miles North in Henderson, there are several arfcommers 60 miles North of Nac in Longview, there are several around the Tyler area, and there are more than you would think in the Nac/Lufkin area. Bigdozer says there is a new range in Huntington which is just South of Lufkin. We need to have a big NE TX arfcom gathering sometime. Maybe just dinner one evening or even a big shoot. We are planning a MG shoot in Longview for March. Nothing huge just a bunch of us with MG's getting together. I'll make a new thread when we actually set a date. |
It would be nice to meet some fellow members, i have none that are very close here. |
Where'd ya live at in nd? I probably know it been all over there coon hunting!! I grew up in MN. If its anything west of ..... well pretty much the whole state is one big field with a big crick bottom from north to south through it that breaks up the landscape a little bit
1989-1990. I dont remember ANYTHING tho. Well, I suppose I remember the zoo, steen hall, the units, Hall 16, Itza pizza, the towers, CHEAP KEGS, fight night, streaking, acid, LaHacienda, bullwinkles, crossroads, some monday night lingerie show, and I think I went in that library thing once. |
They torn down Crossroads a few years back. Greatest firetrap there ever was. We used to go to happy hour and slam a couple Adios Mutherfuckers to start off the weekend. |
Just so ya know, the new guy buys the beer. We like Shiner Bock. |
Hey, only about 12 people are Native Texans, and the rest of us just got here as soon as we could. So welcome. And for the rest of you, ND people ain't Yankees. Midwesterners they are--a whole nother breed.
But we do gotta shut the door sometime though. Maybe shut all 4 doors--N S E and W. Especially N S E and W. |

I remember Crossroads. Watched Stevie Ray Vaughn play his ass off just five feet in front of me. Had a great time during my four years & still managed to get a diploma. Class of 1984 |

Welcome to Texas.
I spent the longest month of my life down there one weekend. But.......that may have been due to the folks I was with than the town. |
Anything north of the Red River is yankeeland. |
My wife is fond of saying anybody born north of I-10 is a yankee. I think that's a bit extreme. North Dakota probably qualifies in her worldview. Half of my relatives are from Montana. I don't think of them as yankees. I think of them as effin' crazy for living anywhere that cold. North Dakota qualifies on that issue as well. I'm glad you came to your senses and moved somewhere warm. |
Looking at the weather this morning, -5 here and 57 there. I think this is a good move. |
On August 1st, when it is 105, and it is the 53rd consecutive day of 100+, and then realizing you have another 50+ consecutive days of 100+ to go... Remember those thoughts. |
Don't forget about the Humidity; It makes that 102 feel even worse.
Yeah that heat is going to take some getting used to. At least a guy can still sit outside and have a beer though, i am tired of being locked inside for months at a time.
sorry man, I jsut checked the roster and we are not currently accepting any new Texans. TRG |
Well i will just have to sneak across the border like the people from the south. |
Mojo did not sneak. TRG |
Sneak, swam, what diff does it make, we got rivers on both ends. TXL |
Shoot ilikelittleboys. We'll pay you. TRG |
Hey, I went to SFA from 93-98.
Great town, but no real work opportunities for me so I ended up in Houston. Congrats on picking a great area and make sure your date is at least 18. Some of those high school girls will tell you that they go to SFA. Don't ask how I know. |
I think that is child porn. I am calling SonyPlayStation. TRG PS. Because we KNOW who your boss is, bitch! |
thought I smelled something.
welcome to Texas, now where's our beer? txl |
Where in the hell is the Sam Adams? I could not find any tonight. That smell is the restroom in Wal-Mart. |
Try Shiner Bock or Zeigenbock if you have to drink U.S. made beer...otherwise indulge in some Negra Modelo..... |
