Again already? The 9mm Blazer around me went up from $3.86 per box of 50 to $4.86 per box of 50 about two months ago.
How much was it where you were?

$4.86 and going up again 20% or so on Wednesaday, according the counter guy at Academy on Spring Creek & 75 in Plano. Hence my post. Good news is I did not buy it all this time. |

That is ridiculous !!
At that price reloads are cheaper, no more money for blazer..they priced themselves out of my money.. |

not for the last 2 months, luckly I went kinda crazy the last time it was in stock, BUT now I've noticed that my favorite 7.62x39 ammo, Monarch/Barnaul, is out and been out for over a month... Very disturbing EPOCH |

That's another $1 increase over the $1 they already had - make that ~50% since January
$5.86 for Blazer? DAYUM!!!! I'm glad my 550B is still set up for 9mm... |

alright here to confirm this i am, yes i work at academy, on bryant irvin, and yes all of are ammo is going up, so buy now! also from what ive heard about 7.62x39 is that america is seeing about 5% of whats being made, the rest is being bought by the military and sent to iraq. but alas, ammo is gonna start to be a bitch in the next couple of months.

Stopped by the Grapevine store on HWY 26 and picked up a case of Blazer 9mm (for IDPA fun) and confirmed that the price increase is real for all ammo and batteries.
Anything with lead in it is going up 20% on Wednesday according to the counter guy. |

Same thing at Wal-Mart too, I bought a box of 100 Winchester .45ACP rounds on Sunday and by Wednesday the price had hiked $5 a box

Thanks for the heads up. I mostly only buy Blazer 9mm at Academy and Q3131/A. I got 500 rounds of Blazer today in College Station. Nice thing is they don't even blink when you buy a case lot at Academy!!
