Went early, hoping for no wind. Oh well. Anyway, I picked this up Monday, still haven't paid the guy yet
 Remington 700 in .308. Springfield 4-12 x 54 scope with mil-dot thingys and a bubble level. Shot the first 5 rounds at 50 yards.  Then another 3 at 100.  That was plenty. It was too bloody windy and cold. This is my first bolt action so I'm a noob at this. I just wanted to see how it shot and make sure the previous owner hadn't abused it. Seems good to me. So now I can join you guys out at the 200 yard range

that's nice, but it can't hold a candle to my WASR Varmint rifle.

Better make time or you wont get much shooting in on weekends for a while. Briley national will close down the long range for the duration of their match. For 2-3 weekends? |
