Like the title says I am in the market for a 1911.. can anybody recommend a shop to me.

If you are window shopping, go by the Bullet Trap in Plano.
Gunshows have the best prices, and Mkt. Hall is coming up the 25th. and 26th of this Month.

Winchester Gallery in Ft. Worth has a good selection.  They also have a fairly good selection of rentals at their range.
