Hey fellas, im going to be in houston this weekend and was wondering if there were any good shooting ranges out there for me to go to. I wanna take my girlfriends brother shooting ,who has never shot a gun. I need a range that rents guns. Indoor or out. Outdoors preferable. Thanks.

I know Hot Wells on 290 rents handguns.

top gun rents pistols and machineguns, they are a indoor range.

Pasadena gun center rents firearms, and that is probably the closest one to you.

You could check out Marksman. It's an indoor range a little closer than Pasadena. Pasadena is great range too.

The Texas City range is a nice outdoor range, but I don't know if they have rentals. The League City range is an option, but wouldn't want to recommend it. Might give you a (false) bad impression of the area. (League City is nice... the jury is still out on whether the range is 'nice')

thanks fellas. called pasadena gun center and got directions. They rent all types of guns as well as c3 stuff.
