I saw this posted on subguns.com & was wondering if anyone will have MG's to rent? Also what time wil it start, etc. I'm in Waco so I'll definitely come out to watch the fun! I have some Tannerite I'd donate if it can be used...

Thanks!

it is in march (11&12)and generally its invitation only, i was there last year and plan to go again this year. there were probaily 50+ belt fed and a few hundred small arms. form what i gather from the organizer it will much more this year and it seems we will get to do some night shooting as well.
as far as rentals, not sure, most people last year would just let you use whatever you wanted to try out.  as far as fees, i believe this year its 60 per shooter for the weekend and food.

any arfcommers looking to go , give me a shout and ill get you on the list.

DVD Tracker, that was me. I was right behind you waiting in the line to see R. Lee Ermey.  Hope to catch up with ya again this year. Off the the SHOT Show right after this post.

Here's the skinny on the Tiger Valley MG Shoot. Glen, who put the shoot on last year, lost money covering all sorts of things from extra food to cars and hauling them away after.

The Outpost Limited

P. O. Box 2102

Arlington, Texas 76004#####02

For the 170 years of the Republic of Texas, citizens have enjoyed their 2nd
Amendment rights, and at the same time they have enjoyed their "Pursuit of
Happiness". In many cases, it is the same thing.

On Saturday and Sunday, March 11th and 12th 2006 , the prairies of central
Texas will once again hear the "Thunder of the Guns", only this time, we
aren't chasing Santa Anna or hunting the Comanche.

It's time for: BANNED OF BROTHERS - 2006

So, consider this your invitation to mobilize North of the Brazos River not
far from those places of old.."Ben Hur" "Midway" and "Battle, Texas.

We will mobilize at the Tiger Valley Gun Range, off Highway 84, for 2 days
of "SHOOTIN' AND "LOOTIN" and "RUNNING" & GUNNIN''!!!

Weather??? Well, you know this is Texas. If you don't like the weather,
just wait.it's gonna change..so be prepared! Sunny & hot, snowy & cold, hot
& sweaty, rainy and icky, .you just don't know. Be sure to include that
rain gear and pack those mud boots, cuz if you don't, you'll be wishin' ya
did!

Your $60 range fee (per person) is just that. Covers the cost of 2 days of
range rental, targets, t-shirt, security and a real Texas Barbecue Saturday
night.( Spectator only fee is $10.00 per day) That steer is getting fat and
tasty on a good grassy prairie range, just awaiting our event !!

Tiger Valley has a 1,000 yard range, and we intend to make full use of it.
There will also be 50 & 100 yard funhouse range for sub-guns and pistols,
along with friendly competition. We will also have a campfire for consuming
those adult beverages we like so much and will swap stories and tell all
kinds of lies! Please bring a ground tarp to keep the line clean and if you
forget, I will have some there for sale. I will also have some ammo for sale
in limited calibers, so let me know. .

We will have limited facilities at the range but there's also room to camp,
park your RV or travel trailer on site and hotels of Waco are about 20
minutes to the West. Cost for tents are $5 a night, and RV are $15 a night
and incl. hook-ups. So, ya'll come on out and let's have some Gun Fun!
Let's be safe and responsible and have and have some fun! I need a head
count as soon as possible, so the quicker you mail the check, the less
stressed out I get. Thanks and see ya .Glen
