I will definitely not be out of town for this one. Gotta go find some 1911 parts for a winter project. Who's going?
I never miss this one.
What parts do you need imcoltsguy ?? We can meet and I can pick up what you need if you like ?? I will be there early Sat morning, if anyone would like to meet up for Tannerite IM or email me. |
Not sure what all I'm gonna get. Just picked up a Springfield that is really built right and is a tack driver so I want to pick up a new hammer and sear for a trigger job, and probably a slide stop and extended safety to replace some MIM parts. Then I have a hankering for a Colt 38 Super top end--prefer Govt model length, or Commander if I can't find the standard 5" barrel/slide combo.
Can't ever predict when I'll be there, but definitely probably maybe Saturday morning. Or afternoon. Hope to run into some ARFCOMers. Think I may have seen a couple of you at the FW show a couple of weeks ago---a guy and a really good looking lady (never actually got around to seeing what the guy looked like--understandable--other than maybe he had kind of a high hairline in front). But they seemed to be very knowledgable when they were looking at AR stuff on someone's table near the front door so could have been someone on here. |
I'll be there. I am planning on picking up my first stripped lower. A guy on one of the 1911 forums I'm on is in the process of selling me a progressive press. He better hurry up, or I may just buy the whole rifle at the show! I'll be bringing my brother-in-law too if he can make it. He just got interested in shooting. He bought his first pistol just before Christmas. He's never been to a gun show!hock.gif
I can help you out on the lower. I'll be there and I have Armalite,Bushmaster,DPMS,Rock River,Stag Arms,Double Star and the new High Standard. Look me up. |
I'll be there for sure and as you know I have Wilson,Ed Brown,Chip McCormick, Smith&Alexander and Cylinder and Slide 1911 parts. Hope to see you there. |
Save a Stag for me! One of the last ones I bought from you ended up going to my brother for Christmas. I'll hopefully be dragging him to this show to find out just how much money he can spend on AR stuff! |

Do you all usually meet somewhere during the show? I have to sell my sons 22mag, looking for a 9mm AR, maybe the new carbon bushy nine...
yeah, around 11:45ish, we all usually meet at the snack bar area and head to lunch...
Am taking my better half to shop pistolas, let her get a feel for what she might or might not be interested in...
I've got a 92FS I'm selling, should I bring it to the show with me? |
I'll let you know if I am definitely going... something came up today that may take priority. I'll let you know shortly Thanks! |
[not Robbie, but] I've got some Badger Tac latches I'm selling too, I've got both the old kind and the new kind... let me know if I should bring those too... |
CnL got off for the day, so we'll be there. I'll be looking for optics for the AR, maybe bringing the baby Tanfoglio to sell...
I am NOT going to buy a gun this time... (I don't think. Unless I can find a Garand or an AK that want to go home with me...) |
If you get an M1 Garand rifle, then let me know if you're bringing it to Tom Bean. I've got at least one ammo can full of various .30-06 in 8-rd en-bloc clips. |
TRUST ME, if I get one, it'll be there!!!!! |
Definately need a new optic for trhe AR... SIGHTED IN... |
Yeah, it is having issues... CnL tried to adjust it yesterday, but it seems to be tits up. Still, that said... I still managed to hit the tannerite with iron sights, didn't I? |
and I hit it with NO sights.... |
yeah, after you moved about 30 yards closer.... |
If I make it to the show,I might be bringing a .50cal ammo can full of LC black tip 30-06 in Garand clips that I want to trade for some 308, 223, or other interesting stuff. Clint |

Hours are 9-6 Sat and 9-5 Sun |

Thanks Robbie
BTW, where will we have lunch? Since we're having Tex-Mex for dinner....fish, steak, psuedo-cajun(everyone knows that cajun is creole that burned while cooking), cute food? mm |
Remember tex-mex will be for dinner at cozymels in plano at 7pm |
I know....that's why I was asking about lunch. mm |
I will be there set up trying to sell a few of these dozen or so pistolas and a few rifles and shotguns. See ya'll there!

You have a table? |
I'll be there, and on the lookout for some 6.5x55Swedish Surplus ammo. If you folks can keep an eye out for it, I'd appreciate it. It'll come in a small brown box and say "Prickskytte"(Sniper).
I cant wait to shoot my Swede Mauser this weekend! ETA: I'm bringing my custom P225 to sell or trade. |
What are some of the better tables to look at for AR15 stuff?
i.e. single point sling, sling mount, CAR quad rail fore grip, mags Thanks |
Tanlegsintx and I will will both be there! Looking for more ammo!
I don't know if I'm one of the better tables, but I have what you're looking for. |
roseco,
I will give you first shot. I have a list of odds and ends I need!!! Thanks |
I'll be by with my brother and dad to pick up some 4 rail hanguards. What sizes do you have? |
Carbs. |

I dont know if im going to go or not. I would like to get a Glock 19 to start in IDPA but dont think ill have the extra cash in time. anyone know how much one might go for? thanks
I've got 4 Glocks for sale, a G17, G22, G21, and lastly a G19 (but I'm likely to keep that one). Interested in any of the others? |
$449 new, cash discount price, "normal" price using a credit card is about 3% higher. I have seen some used 19s at Schramm's and Bachman's table for about $80-$100 less. A 17 might be easier to use initially, the butt is longer and actually helps a bit with magazine changes. Many people don't seat the magazine completely or pinch their strong hand when trying to do rapid magazine changes with the shorter butted weapons. mm |
Bachman's, storefront price: $489 for a Glock 19, cash price +tax.
$499 for a Glock 17 at Sports Authority, and they said a Glock 19 is the same price, but couldn't confirm... I talked to Bachman-- they said their gun show prices will be less, generally. |
Dont pay more then 450 cash for a G17..I know the prices as I have one myself.
I am looking for a G21 3rd gen. |
I dont know, I havent shot a G17 yet. how much might a 1911 go for?
I'm picking my G17 up tomorrow and if you come to the Tom Bean shoot on Sunday, I'll let you run a box of 50 rounds through it. If you bring your own 9mm, I'll let you burn that up in it. Hold onto your hat ladies, I got it(police surplus factory refurb) delivered to Garland, TX and FFL fees with 2 extra hi-cap mags for a grand total of $369. http://www.summitgunbroker.com/825838.html The big question is, where is the rally point and time at Market Hall for lunch on Saturday?? wganz ¶ |
