Pretty cool, I like the helmet cam.

Did you wear it while doing the side match?

I'm interested in the helmet cam its self. Do you have a link to an informational site?

Helmet cam is awesome, a friend of mine has one and we use it at our pistol shoots every now and then.

If you want to buy one already set up, one source is hosercam.com (theirs mounts to a headset, not a helmet, but same type of idea). Google "helmet cam" for more.

Figured I'd fire up a separate thread for pics and video.  Saw a lot of cameras there so we should see plenty!

The helmet cam worked GREAT!  Here's a couple that I've grabbed so far.

I'm still amazed at the fireball that 10.5 was producing.  I think you were shooting XM193 out of a 10.5" barrel w/ an A1 or A2 FH?  Makes for some great pictures, but dayumn...

Sader is in the background shooting mine w/ Wolf, 11.5" & Vortex.  I wonder if it was the extra inch of barrel, the ammo, the FH, or a combo of all 3?

I had a great time. My Commando ran like a clock. Went through 1200 rounds before I knew it.

DVD you're helmet cam was the hit of the party.

Didn't you know that my AR doubles as a flamethrower?

Just wish that the 10.5 upper was running better.  We spent so long in the pistol bay and had so many holdups from the its ejection issues that I only managed to put 150 rounds or so through it.  Didn't even get to do a mag dump out of my beta-C.

The helmet cam works great.  Only drawback is that I look like even more of a dork than normal while wearing it.

No way tracker you were news worthy with that deal and at least it would deflect a round if it had to..

Jourlnalist around the world should be placing orders from you as of today !!

Getting the fireball in the image is a very "iffy" thing.
That is the only image showing muzzle flash.  I have a few series where I'm taking 3 frames a second while DVDTracker (and another) is doing a mag dump.

Here are some pics of the long range stuff.  I spent more time shooting bullets than shooting pictures though.  It was a great time and one I hope to repeat soon.  We should talk to TJ and see if we can get a day after the holidays to rent the 1K range all day.  I am sure we could get enough guys together to make it worth while for everyone.  If the pics are too much for the page I can just link to them.  Trying to get a script up where I can thumbnail them on a webpage and then just link to that page.

Enjoy-

Debo

Nice pics.
I can't even see 1000 yards - never mind hitting anything.

Yes it is.

That being said, it was my first time shooting that far and it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  My previously-untested elevation dope was right on.  Just have to study up on my windage guestimates...

DVDTracker: I noticed that a lot of the audio is weird. All the guns sound like they're suppressed 22's even the large hunting rifles and blackpowder stuff in your older videos.

Do you have the microphone setup properly?

Thanks, I thought that rifle looked familiar.  I know Pete well, and we train and shoot together at the local long-range tactical precision rifle matches (I won't call them sniper matches, because they aren't...)
