changing it again and for final. reason I'm doing this is because i-45 is usually bumper to bumper at about 6 pm to 7 pm. most of the people from the central and south houston area have to take i-45 to get there...... I don't think it's a good idea to host anything on i-45 that time of the day.

besides J is lonely.....

Coz: sorry, dude... really don't want to go down in the unwritten books as the guy who hosted meets where there was either no parking or it was gridlock for an hour to get to it.

Wings & More, er Wings & Things (whatever it is called) on I-45 North @ Airtex.

Right off the freeway, much easier (& quicker) to get to for everyone than El Real.

that's what I said to SC. I said man, every time I set something, someone always says "awwwww but we wanted it over here blah blah"... so I change it over there, then everyone else cries or some other detail(in this case gridlock traffic) changes it...... meh

because you seem to always set it in the same part of town unless someone speaks up.  We're all cool with the west side, but every few weeks we can alternate.

No one is working this week. You are going to go to Westheimer where all the shoppers will be

I-45 would have been a cake walk compared to What Westheimer is going to look like.

Also, The Beltway is closed tonight, so people will be taking surface roads.

See y'all some other time.

The beltway is closed?  Fuck that, I'm out.  Westheimer is going to be insane.

Well, that's cool, but how long do you think it will take to get down Westheimer back to the Beltway with all the Xmas shoppers going down there?

You bunch of tiddy babies.  You're still a few miles away from the mall.  Once you hit past 7:30 or 8pm traffic on westheimer is not all that bad.

And you honestly believe that the I-10 / Westheimer / Galleria area will be better? I-45 is rarely a major problem at that time of day. The proposed location on Westheimer is generally a cluster in the mornings and evenings, not to mention the added Christmas shopper traffic. Not a wise choise, IMO. If traffic is so bad, take the Hardy Toll Road; many of us take Beltway 8 to travel to the meetings.

Unfortunately, count me out. I made plans prior to the weekend for this evening based upon being up on the North side of town. With the extra Christmas traffic on Westheimer, I don't think I really want to change my existing plans.

IMO, this constant changing of the meeting places is getting out of hand.  Ideally, we should know where we are going to try and meet by 3 or 4 days ahead of time.

What again was the logic / reasoning behind the change this time?

Jesus...you don't even know what you are talking about.  Most people are still working this week.  Traffic is not any worse than normal.  I know since I patrol it every day.  The tollroad doesn't close down until  9pm or after.  Quit your bitching and come see me!

Until it's after 9pm and the toll road is closed.

El Real is 4 miles from my house, I don't feel like driving 45 minutes to go to Texadelphia.
