I stopped by "the gun store" in Aransas pass the other day. hell of a lot of AR's.
Dint seem to have any reason to carry "surefire" flashlights as it was a "gun" store... |

how do you all feel about meeting at Pizza hut for dinner about 8pm or so on friday (11-25-05) night, at Aransas Pass?
Wal mart has gas @ 1.799 with gift card for the weekend. If not the Pizza hut in AP, then where? FYI, I hate fish.

The Corpus Christi Pistol & Rifle Club has a nice setup. No restrictions on ammo or firearms, plus there are several skeet, trap, & 5 stand to shoot also. As far as a place to eat, I'm good with anything.
I really need to zero my .308 brush rifle today, so I'll be at the range around one or so. We do have a Hooters here, anyone interested in having a bite there later on? If we want to shoot at the range in Corpus, I can take us to any food there is over here. Tex, I'll give you a ring sometime mid morning. |

There is only one in Corpus. It's on South Padre Island Drive, or a.k.a. S.P.I.D. Between Weber and Everhartt. I'm on my way to the range now, we will meet there sometime after five TexRedNec........ He has to work until five.

I count seven or eight members close enough to Corpus to have a "lunch" or a "dinner" to get together and meet each other. With Christmas and New Years just around the corner, I know it may be hard to work it out, but how about we plan for a date in the beginning of January if we can't do it sooner? That should be far enough out that we all can arrange our schedules to make it work. You guys from the valley are welcome too. I know it's a long drive though.
Since we are a little scattered, maybe we could have the "dinner" or "lunch" in the members hometowns each month. I'm sure there are good places to chow in Victoria, Rockport (The Big Fisherman), Beeville, Ect. |

I'm free fridays and saturdays as long as I don't have to drive more than 2 hours. I'm rarin for a shoot and eat. btw, there is only one decent resturaunt in Beeville.. Shorty's. They do ok steaks but they're overpriced and they never cook em the way you want. |

settle on a day i can make it fridays or saturdays as for shootin down here the only place i go is a party pace out in the country by a pwr substation no good target stands there have to make your own.
