I was looking forward to the cooler weather, but my electricity is back on now. So, no big deal. But I still won't complain about the cooler weather.

I opened the windows this morning in the hopes of getting a blast of cool air. Instead, the open windows just let in the noise of my neighbor's air conditioning unit.
I guess the front hasn't hit Austin yet... |

Reason I moved to Lubbock from the "Greater Corpus Christi Area": * It was as far north as I could move to attend a D-I school and still be in Texas. Me loves me the cold weather, too......... My first sophomore year, I was in these on-campus apartments, and I took the north-facing room. 30deg F outside and I left the winders cracked, crawled into bed, pulled the covers up under my chin and thought: "Yup, I made the right choice comin' here."* *Note: I'd already decided that, however, the first time I saw the ladies in the summertime........... |

I work outdoors all day in the PW dept. of a middlin size city.
I have been waiting for this weather since May! It was cool this morning- 60* and it got up to 65*. Right now it's 53*. I have a softball game tonight at 9pm. YEAH BABY! I bet I don't break a sweat even with an inside the park homerun. Jim |

Time to get out to the farm !! I cant wait.. I love the cold weather, saves a ton of money on my electric bill..the house can be cold, you can always cover up and its free !! |
