im new to this forum but not to the hobby of collecting mass quantities of ak's and ar's. I have heard of these three gun tactical matches and would like to participate in them and with a team if possible. Any info would be helpful.

I dont know of many INSIDE D/FW, but there are a few I know of OUTSIDE. One is gonna be in a couple of weeks at TIGER Valley, which is east of Waco. There are a few out west of Ft. Worth at Tac Pro, too.

CCIDPA puts on an occasional 3-gun match at CCGR. I think there is one coming up on ~~Oct. 30th~~.

EDIT: It's Oct. 22nd, and you have to be a member of CCIDPA to participate. www.ccidpa.org

And not only do you have to be a CCIDPA member, you have to shoot in enough of their regular IDPA matches before they let you shoot 3-gun.

TacPro 3-gun is Oct 22. Not sure if they are full yet or not. I usually RO but have a conflict this year. I hope to help with setup and get to shoot the RO match, we'll see.

New (competition) shooters welcome, it's a good realistic match. They are approx 1 hour west of Fort Worth.
