We will be there. Oct 1 & 2. If you missed the last one, you need to make this one. This is a NTGC show and it will be good.

Makarov_Mami and I will be there, she just got paid ..... oh ooooo
I plan to leave a nice chunk of that check in Frisco! |
Have to work a half day, but i will be there around 12:30 or so. I was almost to Bigtown and got called in to work, got called in last weekend Sat. and Sun. both, so i missed Mkt. hall too! My job is playing hell with my hobby these days. Hope to see ya'll there, W.B.
What is the address to the place were the show will be at? Need address!
Maybe this time no Glocks will fire in the main room and no Glock's will be stolen of a private seller's table!
I wish all a successful time. The market Hall show last weekend had a great success so I am sure it will carry over. they had attendance of 150% of a normal show per the president. I bet they do as well in Frisco this weekend with their show. It was a hoot the last time and I enjoyed the discounted attendance from the fellow ARfcomer. matt I beleive was his name. See ya'll there. |
Mark and Karina, When are yall going? Saturday or Sunday? It would be good to see you both. Peace, Doug(Dragonfire52) |

Anyone know if there will be vendors at the show with Arms, Troy, or Larue rear iron sites? I'd like to get my hands on a couple of these different brands, preferably before I choose one.
I have Yankee Hill, GGG, and Midwest Industries. No Troy or Larue, but I will be there if you want to look at what I have. |
Roseco,
I'm looking for the Yankee Hill 9803 (Two Piece 4 Rail Forearm). Would you have this? If you could please let me know if you have it, let me know your price, I would come by early Saturday AM if you have it. Thanks, GG |
IF robbie does not have one, thier will be a few other dealer that have them..
Yankee Hill is the worst in the world about shipping. I am out of YHM two piece. They have back ordered them but I do have the Surefire two piece. Come by anyway and take a look. |
No problem, I'll drop by and say hello, and check out the Surefire.
Thanks again, GG |
Early as in "as soon as they open" Saturday morning? What time does it open...........10am? I could make that or if it's Sunday, I can't be there until 12:45 or 1(after church). Let me know what yall decide. Peace, Dragonfire52 |
which one are you looking for? |
S.A. or Kimber mid size. Still making up my mind on which one. |
<------------ which one I like |
I am sure I could be happy with something like that. |
I think that SA provides the best bang for the $ in the full size dept. YMMV
Just hope I get a good one. I hear its hit and mis with these 1911's. Last thing I want is another piece of shit that jams. |
Mojo and I have been very happy with our Kimbers....IM if interested. Jeff |
my suggestion would be a NM serial number YMMV |
is there a thread we can print out to get free/cheap admission?
I own a Kimber Ultra CDPII and I really like it, I also have 3 SA fullsize pistols. I dont have a 4 inch 1911 so I have no experience with them. YMMV
Take a look at the S&W 1911 line. I've been very pleased with the 2 I have
Had several Kimbers and all were shooters - just picky about which mag and/or ammo worked with which one Oilfieldtrash - over and out... |

Most of the time you will find the best price and selection online. The main area of savings is ammo. Cheaper at the shows. The big reason I buy at shows are: 1. I can physically examine the products, see how they fit and feel. 2. I can get it right now, that day. 3. I support local dealers, and in turn ensure gun shows will be around. I like going, even if I dont need or buy anything. This was a good show. I picked up a couple holsters (I get to see how MY guns fit them, and how they feel and perform BEFORE I purchase) and I picked up 1k rounds of .223 Wolf for practice, much cheaper than I can find it online. Also grabbed a few ammo cans, and other misc stuff I needed, but always forget to order. |
Well, I had a good time at the show! CnL picked up a couple of things, and I walked away with an adapter I needed for my bipod on the AR, a light, a holster, a lifetime NRA membership, and a sweet little XD 9mm sub compact!
The Big Guy had to go right to work from the show, but I managed to take my new baby to the range for a little quality time together this afternoon! I LOVE it! Can't wait til we go back to the range tomorrow! |
how much can I expect to find 1000 rounds of cheap wolf 55gr. for? Is it cheaper than buying from ammoman online?
Maybe for you... Us guys in Fort Worth don't exactly find Frisco... "convenient" |
The same thing can be said for those of us in the North Texas area, ie: McKinney, Plano, Allen Sherman, Denison. Where you guys have the Mkt/H, B/T, etc shows, its nice to have a venue more "convenient" to us for a change. |
Nah. You guys don't need a more convenient location |
1K of 55gr .223 Wolf was $109 plus tax, which made it around $117 total. Online, shipped, it is around $139 to your door. So thats a 16% savings to pick it up at the show. They all had a bunch of Wolf (among others) 7.62x39 for $99/k |
