Has anyone ever been to one of these GSSF matches? Are they run well, fun, worth it, ect...? Just curious. Is anyone going?

I have. I like them, they are fun.

The San Antonio one is at Blackhawk range, south of SA off I-35. Easily the worst maintained range I have ever been too, I will never go back. There is another one in Lubbock in October, I am going to that one.
