Dixie Chicken - everything's good + lots of beer
J. Cody's - steak Sodolaks Beefmasters Restaurant - steak There was this really good hole-in-the-wall Mexican place downtown that I can't remember the name of that was really good. I'm sure someone who actually lives in College Station can give you a better idea. |

We are huge Rudy's fans. I have been to the two in Albuquerque and one in Lubbock repeatedly. Love that place. Rudy's is a hlaf mile from where we are staying.

C&Js off of texas in bryan. and you should have came over tonight, even though we lost, we had 10lbs of brisket, 6lbs of pork tenderloin and plenty of beer.

That was a freaking heartbreaker. The new QB RB combo is great. I wish the WRs would start catching the balls that hit them in the hands did you see that flea flicker/option? |

I know, we should have had 10 more points on the boards but we didn't due to the fvcking tight end getting that holding penality on the first td and then the WR dropping the ball when it hit him in the numbers.

Thanks guys. We did Rudy's for lunch today. It's the fourth Rudy's I have been too and probably the best.
Our dog is spending today thru Wed. at A&M Small Animal Hosp. So we have free time!! Went to the Bush Library today...pretty neat. |

Last time I was there (been a while unfortunately) now read -
There is a good gun shop off Texas Ave. near an old Krogers (South part of College station), Champions Guns i believe. In Bryan there is Sullivans Outfitters used to have HK stuff prior to the bans of '89 and '94. Surplus store in northgate ~behind Loupots books. Be sure to go to the Corp of Cadets Museum on Campus They have Colt Patterson Serial Number 1 and many other great guns. HK Ag |

I would not send anyone to Burdett and Sons. I was in there today to see if they have changed their ways. "Walmart" 50 round value packs of .223 for $23!!!!!! Burdett also has a small selection of guns. Champion has 10 times more guns and good prices on their new guns. |

I don't buy any ammo locally and the same can be said for firearms.
I just like the people at burdett and son's better. Their selection might be smaller, but they have what I like, 1911s and plenty of black rifles. |

My brother recommended T-Bone Jones for steak. Went by Tuesday. It is closed.
BTW, the ribeye steak at the Ozona Bar&Grill is woefully over-priced. $17?? More like it should be about $10. Also made it down to Brenham and hit Blue Bell. A personal tour and free ice cream!!! Yeah!!!!  The IHOP by A&M was pretty good. We had breakfast there twice. |
