You're correct. Alaska is bigger.  Actually, as a pilot, you have more job opportunities in AK than here and gun laws are very good also. Good luck, Ben. |

Probably won't get shit on by the local constabulary for carrying a loaded weapon in Bear Country. Heard you have a problem with that! LOL Damn, it's gonna be a long flight for the Hun Farm from Anchorage! |

I was offerd a postion flying mixed passengers and freight. in western rural AK. I'll be starting in a cessna 207 (piston single). but the company has other bigger types. Im not officaly hired untill i pass my check ride.
i need to be in Anchorage Aug 28. im leaving TX the 22nd. Ben, the_Emu |

Hopefully i'll be settling down soon. Im thinking i'll be up there for a year or two, then get a nice regular job in WA or ID. I will be sure to visit texas again someday. i have too many friends down here. Ben, the_Emu |

Whenever I think of Alaska, I can't help but think:
There are strange things done / In the land of the Midnight Sun / By the men who toil for gold / The [can't remember] nights / Have seen strange/queer sights / [can't remember] I used to read "The Cremation of Sam McGee" for UIL in grade school.
