$2.79 is a deal, but $2.99 is a good price - $4.29 is a rip off unless you are buying just a few boxes |

Does Academy have some now? Everytime I go to an Academy all they have for cheap 223 is that 45gr varment stuff. I hope it is back in stock now. |

What, three years ago? Q3131A is NOT $2.99 per box of 20 at Academy. That is $150/k and would FLY off the shelves at that price. Most places, it can be found for $3.99 per box, which is $200/k.... the going rate. $4.29 per box, with the 5% discount, is about $203/k. Not a great deal at all, but close to the going rate. At those prices - I'll keep buying Wolf for plinking, and loading my own for the rest. |

That is a good price when you can find it. Academy has not had any for more months than I can remember. Ammoman, AmmunitionStore, Cheaper Than Dirt, Midway USA, Natchez, Northwest Loading and Outdoor Marksman all show out of stock unless they recently received some. Their prices reflected $3.99 - $4.45 a box in 1000 rd cases when they last had it. |
