$119.88 is a good price on a NIB 10/22 18.5" barrel blued carbine.  They have them at Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine TX today only from 5-10pm.  When I called at 4pm they have about 200 in stock. Limit one per person.

It's a Ruger.   Almost everyone that knows something about firearms knows that.  Not a slam, just a fact.

From the Ruger site..

When the Ruger 10/22 rifle was introduced in 1964, it forever changed the way shooters viewed .22 rimfire autoloaders. The 10/22 represented a design revolution in a field where pre-World War II designs were still the rule. The trigger housing subassembly contains the entire firing mechanism, including a high-speed, pivoted hammer for short lock time. The barrel is locked into the receiver by a unique two-screw V-block system. The 10/22 also pioneered Ruger’s now-familiar rotary magazine, considered by many to be the most dependable .22 magazine ever invented. This flush mounted, high-impact polymer, rotary magazine gives the Ruger 10/22 a clean appearance and comfortable feel. All 10/22s feature a convenient cross-button safety.

I've had a Remington .22 rifle since I was about 2 feet tall, so yea, I guess I somehow made it all these years (which regardless of what you think is way more than a few) without knowing that a 10/22 was only a Ruger thing, I guess that makes me a dumbass.

Interesting way of welcoming new folks you guys have here...

I do believe I demonstrated that it is more than a catchy phrase, oh, somewhere within the "go f*ck yourself" portion of my post, wouldn't you concur?

Here, to simplify things, I'll give it to you in a graphical format.

Go .

Let the funning continue.

What the hell good is a one day only sale?  Did they even advertise?

Thanks for the heads up.  I went over there tonight at 7:30 pm as soon as I read this post (Bass Pro is only 5 minutes from my house) and bought one of the 10/22's on sale.  Came to $128-something with sales tax, and it was a great way to finally use my gift card.

damn, would have liked to get another one... but my 10/22 habit is as annoyingly expensive as my big rifle habit.

A new 10/22, combined with the recent (don't know if it's still going on) sale on Hogue overmolded stocks at Cabela's, would have had me sleeping on the couch for sure.
