There isn't any cheap ammo in Austin. Cabelas is probably the cheapest, but not cheap.
Buy online, buy in bulk. |

Just be nice to the UPS guy when he rolls up with that heavy package with ORMD stamped on the side. Ammo in bulk is heavy.

Good grief! Those proces almost made me choke. Go to the Ammunition forum under AR15. Brillo keeps an up-to-date pricelist for .223 ammo. |

Sportsman's Guide has LC M193 for $162 for 1000rnds (club price). I shoot about 9-10K rounds a year and find that Sportsman's Guide has the best price on bulk 5.56 ammo. Spend the $25 and join the buyers club if you shoot alot, but don't reload (it's worth it). They also send you a $10 off coupon with every $100 order. There shipping is also fast. If I place an order on a Monday, then it usually arrives on Friday.
